Organizational Team Building
Our focus is empowering individuals, groups, and organizations to build collaborative, high-functioning, high-performing teams. We help teams become more cohesive and utilize more effective communication to improve morale and achieve desired outcomes. We provide a variety of team building activities for work, including PRINT® Team Cohesion-Building, 5 Dysfunctions of a Team, and Differentiated Self workshops.
PRINT® team Cohesion-BuilDing Workshop
Our PRINT® Workshop is our most popular business team building activity. PRINT® is an assessment and motivational system created by The Paul Hertz Group to help organizations effectively recruit and retain talent, develop leaders, build teams, tap into employees’ strengths, remove interpersonal barriers, and meet performance objectives―with unprecedented efficiency, receptivity, and success. RJCG Consultants are Certified PRINT® Coaches with extensive workshop facilitation experience.
The PRINT® survey is quick to complete, easy to interpret, and powerful to use
PRINT® explains why some talented employees shine while others undermine team effectiveness and cohesion by:
Identifying Unconscious Motivators® that drive behaviors
Identifying and supporting Best Self behaviors that bolster performance
Identifying and reducing Shadow Self behaviors that undermine teamwork
Identifying and managing Triggers that lead to Shadow Self behaviors
Supporting the PRINT® diversity of teams, maximizing strengths
A team-building PRINT® workshop with RJCG provides a scaffolding system for effective communication, tension reduction, and strong group cohesion that organizations will use long after the workshop is completed
Over 400 organizations across 30+ years have successfully used the PRINT® system to make their organizational cultures stronger and more productive, including IBM, Chrysler, American Airlines, CBS … and many more
5 Dysfunctions of a team cohesion-Building Workshop
Patrick Lencioni has documented the importance of cohesion-building to addresses common dysfunctions that interfere with team morale, collaboration, and productivity. This experiential workshop uses Lencioni’s framework to help teams:
increase trust
decrease unproductive conflict
increase commitment to the team
increase accountability
focus on results
These goals can be accomplished as a stand-alone workshop or as a part of an extended PRINT® workshop.
differentiated self team cohesion-building workshop
As a University Professor for 26 years, Rick conducted research on differentiation and the variables associated with healthy interpersonal functioning. A Differentiated Self cohesion building workshop integrates Rick’s research and clinical/coaching experience related to differentiation with Internal Family Systems, a model developed by Richard Schwartz, Ph.D. By utilizing mindfulness and targeted group activities, participants will learn to lead their interactions with teammates from their wise Self, exhibiting the interpersonal behaviors most associated with healthy team functioning, including:
Personal Power: humble confidence
Personal Integrity: values-based discernment and clarity
Low Levels of Emotional Reactivity: balance of thinking & feeling
Healthy Interpersonal Boundaries: being attuned with others without losing connection to their wise Self.
These goals can be accomplished as a stand-alone workshop or as a part of an extended PRINT® workshop.
